At ave.nue101 we are for the curated and considered home and it is part of our ethos to operate as sustainably and responsibly as possible. Due to this we encourage conscious purchasing. Please ensure that you adore your piece and have a place in mind for it to reside in your home prior to purchasing as we do not offer returns for change of mind. Exchanges and returns within the E-commerce sector contribute to, in our opinion, an unnecessarily large carbon footprint. We encourage you to be on this journey of changing consumer behavior with us, by being mindful in how we shop to better our beautiful planet. 

Damaged items:

Minor imperfections:

Each piece has been made by hand in Australia with care and intention. At ave.nue101 we have a “perfectly imperfect” ethos and believe that minor inconsistencies between pieces go on to tell the story of a piece being truly hand made. We encourage you to adopt this mindset alongside us and celebrate any minor “imperfections” with us in the name of hand made. 

However, in the same breath quality control is of utmost importance to us and if you feel your piece may be damaged please reach out to us athello@avenue-101.com with photographs showing your areas of concern and we are more than open to investigating.


Obvious breakages or damages:

Of course, if your piece arrives to you in an obviously damaged condition we understand the disappointment and are more than willing to replace or refund your damaged piece. 

For returns of damaged goods please lodge a damaged goods claim with us by emailinghello@avenue-101.com with the following information:


  • Original order number
  • Date of purchase
  • Items damaged 
  • Images of the damaged box with delivery label visible as well as images of the damaged item or items.


Upon approval of your damaged goods claim you will be able to elect either a refund or replacement to the value of the damaged goods.

ave.nue101 reserves the right to request the return of the damaged goods. The initial cost and delivery arrangements are the responsibility of the customer however in the event that we request the damaged item returned, we are happy to reimburse the postage cost to you upon issue of the receipt. If it is determined that the damaged item needs to be returned your refund or replacement will be issued once we receive the damaged item back.
